This is the one-stop drop for anything media: books of every kind, textbooks, encyclopedias, newspapers, magazines, comics, sheet music, DVDs, Blu-rays, CDs, vinyl records, cassettes, and VHS tapes — in any condition. The things every other drop-off in town refuses — encyclopedia sets, stacks of National Geographic, water-damaged boxes, Reader's Digest sets — are exactly what this box exists for. Readable copies find new readers; the rest is recycled, never landfilled. Vintage formats are welcome too — 8-tracks, LaserDiscs, reel-to-reel tapes and decks, Betamax, 78 RPM records, MiniDiscs — and the truly odd shelf too: wax cylinders, acetates, home-movie film reels and projectors, 35mm slides, camcorder tapes, View-Master reels, piano rolls, HD DVDs, big-box PC games, and cameras of every era (film, digital, lenses, whole bags — working or not). If it plays, spins, prints, or shoots, bring it.

What Happens to Your Donations
I sort everything. Books in demand get resold — that's how I fund my operations and free pickups. Children's books are donated free to community literacy partners, care facilities for adults with developmental disabilities, school libraries in rural counties across NM, and community literacy partners. I work to keep as much as possible in circulation and out of the waste stream.

Can someone help me unload books at the drop-off?
