Book Donation Reviews — Albuquerque

I want to tell everyone how nice it is to have someone pick up boxes of books. I called Josh & we made an appointment for him to come by. He was here on time & very polite & nice to meet. He had all my boxes loaded within a few minutes. I would definitely recommend him & his cause!! It’s important that everyone be able to access & enjoy books. Thank you Josh!

I requested a pickup of books, dvds and vhs tapes. The boxes were heavy and I didn’t have time to take them down to their location. The form to fill out was easy and Josh responded within a few hours. Josh picked up the boxes the day he said he would. Overall, a very pleasant and easy experience. I would absolutely recommend them if you have any media you wish to donate.

He was nice, friendly and fave me additional information when I asked for it. I will definitely work with him and this organization again!

I had to downsize my 93-year-old dad’s living arrangement and move him to a smaller place, wasn’t sure what to do with all the stuff that he didn’t need. I found Josh’s website *New Mexico Literacy Project) online and it was awesome. I wish I had found him the last time we downsized my dad, as we threw away a lot of stuff that could have been reused. Josh comes and takes everything, even those things he can’t do anything with and he gets rid of them or donates them for you. He was very courteous to myself and my dad and very respectful to the belongings. I highly recommend Josh if you need to downsize your loved ones. He can find new homes and new uses for the old belongings.

This is SUCH a great option when you're cleaning things out! I had boxes of books (old textbooks, baby and kid books my kids had outgrown) just sitting around. I was able to just drop them off here with no questions or issues. It was so fast and the two gentlemen who accepted them were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back as we continue to get organized!

Josh is a very nice guy who does a great job of cleaning out a property and removing unwanted items with no questions asked about condition. So happy to see that my mother's books will never see a landfill.

“I called because I wanted to donate a lot of National Geographics magazines. I asked if they could use them all and was told to bring them over. It took me a while to pick them up and get there from the far NE heights. They waited for me and took them all. We had a good friendly conversation so I asked if they would take the comics I needed to get out. They will so I’ll be taking them sometime next week. What a friendly welcome I received and a good conversation. Their mission is clear to help others. Glad I found them and can recommend them.”

Fast service just drive up and drop off … was looking for a place to drop off books besides goodwill…

My church and I are deeply grateful to Josh for hauling away a roomful of surplus sheet music, including the filing cabinets! He showed up on time and worked hard. We were thrilled with the service provided, and recommend this business highly.

Josh from the NM Literacy Project came today to pick up music and hymnals from our church. From all reports, it went very well and we are so appreciative to find a home for our beloved music.

Josh has donated numerous children's books to my Little Free Library in the east mountains at Sunflower Meadow Park. Thanks to his generous donations I am able to continue to provide books to neighbor kids.
