The two pickup tiers — and the open door

Tier 1

Core metro

Bernalillo County and southern Sandoval County. Any quantity. No minimum. Typically 24-48 hours from request to pickup.

  • Albuquerque (all neighborhoods)
  • Rio Rancho
  • Corrales
  • Bernalillo
  • Placitas

Tier 2

Volume-justified extension

Typical 3-7 day scheduling. Minimum ~3 boxes (~100 lb) to justify the drive.

  • Valencia County (Los Lunas, Belen, Peralta)
  • Southern Santa Fe County (Madrid, Cerrillos)
  • East Mountains (Tijeras, Cedar Crest, Sandia Park, Edgewood)
  • Northern Sandoval (Cuba, Jemez Pueblo area)

Outside the pickup area

24/7 drop-off, always open

Pickup does not run beyond the two tiers above. Anywhere else in New Mexico, the outdoor drop-off at 5445 Edith Blvd NE is open around the clock — no appointment, no sorting, any condition.

  • Drop any time you are passing through Albuquerque
  • Local alternatives: Friends of the Library sales, Goodwill
  • Long-range runs in the pickup archive (Socorro, 5,000 lb, May 2026) are history, not the current offer

How to confirm coverage for your address

The tier polygons are approximate. To confirm which pickup tier a specific Albuquerque-area address falls in — or whether the 24/7 drop-off is your closest option:

Outside the metro? The door is still open.

Pickup runs stop at the two metro tiers — but the drop-off never does. The 24/7 door at 5445 Edith Blvd NE takes any condition, no appointment, and institutions can arrange shipping. (The 5,000-lb Socorro run in May 2026 happened once; that was history, not a route you can book.)
