Canonical First-Edition Points of Issue

This is the open dataset behind NMLP’s first-edition identification reference. Each record documents how to identify a true first edition and first printing of a collectible book — and, deliberately, contains no prices or valuations.

What’s in each record

• title, author, publisher, year
• firstEditionPoints — the points of issue that mark the true first printing
• trueFirstNote — precedence (US vs UK vs other first)
• bceNote — book-club and later-printing tells
• url — the human-readable page (with a markdown twin at <url>.md)
