Century (London) hardcover, 1991, with a very small first print run of roughly 2,000 copies and no second printing. Identify by the Century imprint, the Cross Stitch title, the 1991 date with no later-printing statement, and a dust jacket carrying a UK pound price. This is the scarcer of the two 1991 firsts. It is not a reprint of Outlander but a parallel first edition under Gabaldon's original title, and is the harder of the two to find for completists. Later UK mass-market paperback reissues (Arrow) also use the Cross Stitch title but are paperbacks; the collectible first is the 1991 Century hardcover. No book-club edition of note.
