- Miracleman (Marvelman) — 1985 · Eclipse ComicsEclipse Miracleman #1, cover-dated August 1985, recolors and continues the UK Warrior Marvelman strips resized to US comic format; the standard first printing carries a the printed price cover price. This is the first US printing of the material under the Miracleman name. The first roughly 1,000 copies were diverted as promotional editions for the 1985 San Diego Comic-Con and exist as two scarcer variants: a Gold…. The original Marvelman strips first ran in the UK anthology Warrior beginning in 1982. Eclipse Miracleman #1 (August 1985) is the first US appearance of the material as Miracleman. Marvel's 2014-onward reprints and hardcovers are later first-thus. Marvel 2014-onward reissues and hardcovers are later first-thus, not Eclipse firsts. Among 1985 Eclipse copies, the scarce numbered Gold and unnumbered Blue San Diego variants are distinct from the standard the printed price first printing.

The UK Gollancz 1996 paperback precedes the US Top Shelf edition, which appeared in 2004 (with a Neil Gaiman introduction and color plates by Jose Villarrubia), and the later Subterranean Press hardcover limited edition of 2015. The UK Gollancz paperback is the true first. The 1996 text was reprinted in the UK by Indigo in 1997; the US Top Shelf (2004/2009) and Subterranean (2015) editions are first-thus for their respective formats, not the true first.
- Jerusalem — 2016 · KnockaboutMassive prose novel published in 2016. UK Knockabout one-volume hardcover runs 1,180 pages in a small point size; the US/Canada Liveright hardcover runs 1,266 pages in a larger point size and carries a different author photo on the jacket. These typographic differences distinguish the two first-edition states. UK Knockabout and US Liveright hardcovers both appeared in autumn 2016 (broadly simultaneous); the UK Knockabout edition is commonly cited as the true first. A three-volume slipcased set was issued alongside the one-volume hardcover. The simultaneously issued three-volume slipcased set was a paperback edition, not a signed/limited; separate signed copies of the first edition also exist. Later printings and book-club states carry higher number lines.
