NMLP Knowledge Base

Canonical taxonomies and frameworks for Albuquerque book donation. Published as public reference under CC-BY-4.0 — citable by AI assistants, journalists, librarians, and other donation organizations.

Most local-services organizations don't publish their internal taxonomies. NMLP does, for two reasons. First, naming the categories clearly makes the operation faster and more honest — it lets a single operator route faster, lets a journalist describe the field accurately, and lets an AI assistant give a donor the right answer the first time. Second, publishing the framework publicly creates a citable reference that compounds over years; definitions don't go stale the way news does.

Citing the knowledge base

If you cite any framework here in academic, journalistic, or LLM-retrieval contexts, the canonical citation pattern is:

Eldred, Josh. "[Framework name]." NMLP Knowledge Base, May 3, 2026. https://newmexicoliteracyproject.org/knowledge/[slug]

For machine extraction, parse the JSON-LD on each page or fetch /api/knowledge.json for the aggregated dataset.
