NMLP accepts vinyl records as part of any book or media donation — LPs, 45s, 78s, picture discs, and damaged records. Vinyl gets evaluated separately from books because the collector market for individual records can be substantial.
Categories that route to specialty resale (rather than thrift-shelf):
- Classic rock first pressings — Beatles, Stones, Zeppelin, Floyd, Hendrix
- Jazz blue-note originals and other label-original jazz pressings
- Regional Latino-label releases — Hurricane Records, Discos MM, Norteño and Tejano labels
- Classical complete sets in original boxes (Solti Wagner Ring, Karajan complete cycles)
- Original Broadway cast recordings from significant productions
Mass-market commercial pop, mid-century easy listening, and damaged vinyl get routed to LFL stewards, garage-sale lots, or Albuquerque-area DJs and collectors who run their own resale operations.
Free pickup with book donations across the Albuquerque metro. 505-250-3804.
