How soon I can reach you depends mostly on where you are and what else is on the route that week. As a rough sense of the order things tend to fall in:
- Core ABQ metro (87100s): closest to the warehouse, so usually the soonest I can get to you.
- Metro (Rio Rancho, Corrales, Bernalillo, Placitas): grouped onto nearby routes when I can.
- Near metro (East Mountains, Los Lunas, Belen): batched onto a drive heading that way.
- Statewide (50+ box minimum): scheduled into available drive routes as they come up.
If you're on a deadline, just tell me — I'll do my best to work with it:
- Urgent situations: for a tight spot (a closing date right around the corner, a hospice transition, family arriving from out of state), call 702-496-4214 directly and I'll do everything I can to fit you in.
- Closing dates and move-outs: mention the deadline when you call and I'll try to build the route around it.
- Weekend: NMLP picks up Saturdays and sometimes Sundays. Call to confirm.
- After hours: NMLP often schedules pickups in evenings and early mornings to work around donor work schedules.
For donors who don't need pickup at all: the 24/7 outdoor donation box at 5445 Edith Blvd NE, Unit A is always available.
