Pediatric Hospital Reading Program

UNM Children's Hospital Reading Program (past recipient — paused)

An NMLP donation routing partner — Albuquerque, NM

This page is published by the New Mexico Literacy Project to document what NMLP has sent to UNM Children's Hospital Reading Program (past recipient — paused). UNM Children's Hospital Reading Program (past recipient — paused) has not formally endorsed this page; if you represent the organization and want to claim, update, correct, or remove this page, please contact [email protected] or call 505-250-3804.

Why this matters

Pediatric hospitalization is hard on kids and families. A familiar book in a hospital bed or waiting-room corner is a small but real comfort. NMLP supplied part of that flow in the past and would gladly do so again when the program has room.

What NMLP donates

How the routing works

PAST RECIPIENT, CURRENTLY PAUSED: NMLP delivered reading-condition children's books (no visible damage, mold, or odor — hospital standards) to the program until they were fully stocked and asked NMLP to pause. No deliveries are currently being made; this page stays up as an honest record rather than an active claim.

How this routing started

Books were delivered over time until the program was fully stocked; deliveries are paused at their request.
