Why this matters
Little Free Libraries are the most direct possible donation-to-reader pipeline. Books appear in a neighborhood box; neighbors take them home; readers read them. There's no shelf-life problem (books that sit too long get rotated out), no condition gatekeeping (within reason), and no transactional friction. The box's steward takes children's books, and I give them to her when she asks. There is no set schedule.
