The true first UK edition was published by Jonathan Cape, London, in 1978, also using the Kolovakos and Christ translation and the Anita Lovitt jacket art; the Faber & Faber issue is a later (1987) softcover reissue, not the first UK printing. US and UK firsts both appeared in 1978.
